I am looking for a watch that is:
A guys watch,
A digital time watch (or even a mix where it
has both digital and analog),
Backlite,
Water resistant up to 100′,
Made by a well known and reputable
manufacturer,
Also a heart rate monitor,
An most importantly, wake me up when I’m
in a light sleep cycle.
Optional:
Black with silver accents,
Looks BA.
I really need a watch in general ad have my eye on a Timex watch that is just regular watch, but I also need I wake up at earlier in the morning. I will be keeping an eye on this post so I will pick a best answer. Thanks in advance.

I want to buy a nice, high quality watch for my boyfriend’s birthday this year and I don’t know which brands, features, and functions are most important on men’s watches. I want something that will fit his personality and lifestyle. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
Here’s some info about him:
- He’ll be turning 29.
- He’s served in the Navy & Merchant marines and studying Marine Engineering in school, so he’s always around the water or on a ship (waterproof is very important!) Will be working for Coast Guard after school.
- He’s laidback and always active. More of a t-shirt/polo and jeans type of guy when not in uniform. Only dresses up for special occasions like Christmas or weddings.
- Some hobbies include: Scuba diving, auto mechanic, engineering
- He currently wears a Timex digital plastic watch with some more advanced features as his everyday watch because it’s practical and won’t break the bank if it gets ruined during his daily routine.
I was thinking of either buying him a higher quality replacement for the Timex that he could wear every day or a high quality metal, waterproof watch with some features that would benefit someone who is a seafarer and he could still wear most of the time or for special occasions. Budget is up to 0.
Personal recommendations from a guy who is into sailing, navy, coast guard, scuba etc would be great. Thank You!

K so, I just bought my first watch. It’s a digital one from Walmart. How do you set the time? It only has four little buttons on each side of it- no twisty knobs. I reads the directions a billion times and I still can’t understand it.
Thanks.
